The episode that almost never was because we kept finding other things to talk about first!

In this episode, Gina and I talk about what we think procrastination is, why we do it, and most importantly – how to stop procrastinating and do the things we need to do. You can read more about my thoughts on this here.

According to Tim Urban of Waitbutwhy.com we all do it. Check out his video for an excellent explanation of what’s going on in our brains when we procrastinate!

2 Thoughts to “We almost didn’t record this: procrastination (14)”

  1. I had not considered myself to be a procrastinator. I know, however, that I am a perfectionist. As a result of this podcast, I know my “busy bee” nature is not conducive to being a productive artist. My mantra is “do it my way or I’ll do it for you.” And that has been a way for me to Not be focused on my products and processes. Part and parcel is my perfectionism. I have seen how it causes negative results but not procrastination. I am grateful for this podcast and the seeds it has planted in my artist brain!
